     Recently, some customers reported that the X96 X6 Tv Box could not be connected to the 5G signal. What is 5G? The 5G frequency band is different from the well-known 5G network.

     It is only the frequency band of the wifi signal sent by the router, not what we usually call the 5G network. Most of the current routers support dual-frequency functions. In dual-frequency, 5G belongs to the high-frequency band. It uses the fifth-generation wireless network signal, while 2.4G uses the fourth-generation network signal. 
    The 5G frequency band is more stable than the 2.4G frequency band, and the transmission rate is also faster. However, the 5G channel also has a shortcoming, that is, its wall penetration is relatively poor, so you can choose according to your actual situation.
     If your phone can search for 5G signals, but Tv Box cannot find 5G signals, it may be that the 5G channel value set by your router is not between the international standard channel values, so just change the value to 12-41 in the advanced.

    Operation method: 1. Log in to the management interface of the router. Most routers hide the option to change the WiFi channel in the advanced settings menu. If you can't find it there, it is recommended that you open the user manual of your router. After you change the channel, save the settings and try again.

Now the H96 Max RK3566 tv box has released new firmware updating to fix some bugs. And its easy to do it with USB directly.
